“I used to dread getting new glasses. Then 3 years ago I found the Optical Shop. Top class service from start to finish. Helen did my eye test and helped me (with Caoimhin and Jim) to pick frames. I was in good hands. My wife was delighted with the choice of frames and I was delighted with the lenses. I even got a random comment from a stranger about my sunglasses the first day I wore them (I had been warned by Helen that this might happen but I did not believe her).
Just recently returned for a new pair of regular glasses and sunglasses. I got the Varilux 4D. There is about 5 minutes more of testing, but the difference in the lenses is unbelievable. I do not need to use the bottom of the lens to see small writing any more so I don’t feel like my dad lifting my head to read. Emma and Theresa were on hand to help me chose new frames and it feels like everyone in the shop is looking out to make sure they all agree you got the best fit for you. We spent another 30 mins chatting when I went to pick them up.
If you want the cheapest pair of glasses out there, this is not the place for you. If you want the best glasses at a reasonable price with the very best service you will find anywhere, this is the place. Highly recommended.”
